Jawbones Hill into Dyers Wood
Steep to start, but stunning views worthwhile ? approx 40 mins. No pubs so take a pasty!
From Anzac Street climb corner stairs, and march up Crowthers Hill, keep right until you have gone red in the face and turn left into Jawbones Hill. Continue up the road and through the gate past the allotments and into Jawbones giving stunning views upriver and out to sea, well worth enjoying your pasty on the bench now. You will easily while away an hour watching the ferries and river activity from your peaceful highchair! Carry on the path, there may be cows, over stile and into Dyers Wood and follow path zig zag down and back into Above Town where you will turn left and follow road back down into town.
