Slapton Ley to Torcross
Very easy walk totally flat and you are sandwiched between the sea and a freshwater lake abundant with wildlife.
From Strete Gate walk along Slapton Ley, flora and fauna a go go, then walk around one side of the freshwater lake, binoculars at the ready this is a twitcher?s treat! You must visit bird hide in car park at Torcross and feed the swans and ducks at the corner of the lake, mind your handbag with those swans! Cross over road and enjoy fabulous frothy cappuccinos, elderflower bubbly, huge sarnies and flapjacks at the Seabreeze Caf?, watch the fishermen bring their catch in, then rent a bike and cycle home or meander back along beach.
